Annual Inspection/ Service Call

NFPA recommends changing batteries every six months. The Consumer Product Safety Commission recommends changing batteries every year. Whichever you decide to do, a thorough cleaning and service should be conducted at least every year to keep your detectors functioning.

Replacing outdated detectors

• $120 for service fee and first detector.

• $45 for each additional detector.

• Dual sensor detectors are special order. Please call for pricing

• $55 for 10-year battery detectors.

• $155 for service fee and first detector.

• $85 for each additional carbon monoxide or combination detector.

Replacing carbon monoxide or combination detectors:

• $75 Service Fee to reset, clean, install new battery and test up to 8 smoke detectors in your home. $5 for each additional detector.

• $4 per battery. We will recycle your old battery.

These are the most common. They are required in all homes built after 1989.

Carbon Monoxide detectors should be on every level of your home. A great option is to utilize one combination detector on every level of your home.
